This doesn’t mean that you have to go to the extreme. If you’ve got a shaggy haircut, just make sure that you take the time to make it look nice. If you have a beard or goatee that you can’t live without, you don’t have to get rid of it. Just clean it up, because a woman will see how you take care of yourself as a reflection of how well you could take care of her. It’s a little crazy to base your care and compassion levels on your looks, but that’s how women see things. Make sure that you’ve got on clean clothes that aren’t wrinkled or look like they belong to a hobo. Take the time to brush your teeth, carry gum or mints with you for occasional refreshers, and clean up your shave. We’re all subject to these rules and ideals that women have about what men should be. If you don’t care about how you look, why should they?
